JESUS CARED ENOUGH

JESUS CARED ENOUGH FOR YOU
TO LEAVE HIS THRONE ON HIGH.
TO COME TO EARTH TO PAY THE PRICE
FOR THE SINS OF YOU AND I.

JESUS CARED ENOUGH FOR YOU
TO WEAR A CROWN OF THORNS,
THAT PIERCED DEEP DOWN INTO HIS HEAD,
YET NO ONE THERE DID MOURN.

JESUS CARED ENOUGH FOR YOU
TO STAND THERE AND BE WHIPPED,
WITH WHIPS WITH STEEL IMBEDDED,
UNTIL HIS SKIN WAS RIPPED.

JESUS CARED ENOUGH FOR YOU
TO DIE ON CALVARY'S TREE.
TO PAY THAT DREADFUL PENALTRY,
FROM SIN, TO SET YOU FREE.

JESUS CARED ENOUGH FOR YOU
TO RISE UP FROM THE GRAVE,
THE VICTOR OVER SIN AND DEATH,
YOUR SOUL AND MINE TO SAVE.

JESUS CARED ENOUGH FOR YOU
TO GO THRU THIS AND MORE,
TO OPEN UP THAT NARROW ROAD
THAT LEADS TO HEAVEN'S SHORE.

JESUS DOES NOT ASK OF YOU
TO DO WHAT HE HAS DONE.
HE ONLY ASKS THAT YOU ACCEPT
THE GIFT THAT HE HAS WON.

IF JESUS CARED ENOUGH FOR YOU,
THE VICTORY TO WIN,
SO THAT GOD COULD, THRU JESUS BLOOD,
FOREGIVE YOU FROM YOUR SIN.

THEN TELL ME, WHAT EXCUSE HAVE YOU
TO SAY "I DO NOT CARE",
OR "THAT I AM NOT READY YET,
MY LIFE, WITH HIM, TO SHARE".

JESUS CARED ENOUGH FOR YOU
TO OPEN HEAVEN'S GATE,
BUT, YOU MUST CHOOSE TO ENTER IN
BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.
